Route planning

Meeting and transfer to Vallecitos

The adventure begins with the pick up at your accommodation in Mendoza, where our guide will meet you and accompany you in a comfortable private transfer. During the ride, you will enjoy the vineyards and mountain landscapes that anticipate the mountain experience.

Arrival and preparation at the base

Upon arrival at the base of Vallecitos, we take a moment to adjust the equipment, review the safety instructions and have a brief introductory talk about the area, the weather and the day's route. Here the real mountain experience begins.

Beginning of trekking and approach

We start walking along well-defined trails, surrounded by hills and meltwater streams. The pace is calm and adapted to the group, allowing us to enjoy the environment and gradually acclimatize to the altitude. The landscape becomes more and more imposing as we advance.

Ascent through the hills and ridges

As we gain altitude, we cross sectors of high grasslands and soft ridges, with strategic stops to hydrate, take pictures and contemplate the immensity of the Cordón del Plata. The guide will share information about the geography, flora and fauna of the place.

Final stretch and arrival at the summit

The last stretch challenges us with a slightly steeper slope, but always accessible. When we reach 3,700 meters above sea level, we celebrate our achievement at the summit of Cerro Lomas Blancas, enjoying panoramic views and a well-deserved rest to replenish our energy and take unforgettable photos.

Descent and closing of the experience

We return along the same route, with time to share anecdotes and enjoy the last mountain landscapes. Upon arrival at the base, the transfer awaits us to return comfortably to Mendoza, where this unforgettable day ends.
