Route planning
Day 1: Meeting in Mendoza, first contact with the expedition
We are located in the city of Mendoza, We are the starting point of our adventure. We made a informational briefing where the team of guides will welcome you, share logistical details and answer all your questions. We take this opportunity for a thorough check of personal equipment, We will make sure that each participant has the right equipment for the mountain. It is an excellent opportunity to get to know each other and begin to live the spirit of the expedition.
Day 2: Transfer to Scaravelli shelter and set up camp
Early in the morning, we left in private transfer through the landscapes of the Uco Valley, one of the most renowned wine regions of Mendoza. Afterwards, we drive to the Cajón de los Arenales area. Before arriving, we pass through the Gendarmerie control (it is essential to have an ID card or passport), complying with the security requirements of the region. Upon arrival at the Scaravelli shelter, We settle in and set up camp. The rest of the afternoon is used to organize the equipment, enjoy the spectacular natural surroundings and prepare ourselves physically and mentally for the next day's challenge. We have dinner together and rest under the impressive Andean sky.
Day 3: Ascent to Punta Negra and return to Mendoza.
We started the day early in the morning with a energetic breakfast and final equipment checks. What does the program include?
El programa incluye certified guides, traslados en transfer privado Mendoza-Scaravelli-Mendoza, pensión completa durante toda la expedición, carpas dormitorio (para dos personas), equipo de cocina y calentadores.
What personal equipment do I need to bring?
Debes llevar ropa adecuada para montaña (campera y pantalón impermeable, abrigo polar, guantes, gorro, botas de trekking, linterna frontal, entre otros). Al momento de la inscripción, recibirás una lista completa y asesoramiento personalizado sobre el equipo necesario.
¿Es potable el agua en la zona?

En algunas partes del recorrido se puede encontrar señal, pero sólo la empresa Movistar funciona y la cobertura es limitada. La desconexión es parte de la experiencia.
¿Es necesario llevar documentación?
Sí, es obligatorio presentar DNI o pasaporte ya que se debe pasar por un control de Gendarmería antes de llegar al campamento.
¿Dónde comienza y termina la expedición?
La expedición comienza y termina en la ciudad de Mendoza. Desde allí nos encargamos de todos los traslados necesarios.
¿Qué sucede en caso de mal tiempo?
