The objective of this workshop is to provide tools at sport climber to get started in the world of traditional climbing with security, by the hand of licensed guides and in the unique environment of the Cajón de los Arenales.

Arenales is an excellent place to learn the art of traditional climbing. The idea of this workshop is for participants to leave with a solid base to perform with security in this incredible sport. During three days, you will practice key maneuvers, multi-length progression, meeting set-up y underwriting, always under the supervision of professional and bilingual guides.
The workshop includes complete technical equipment, private transfer Mendoza-Arenales-Mendoza, full board and all the cooking and camping equipment necessary. Route planning
Day 1: Introduction and First Maneuvers
e begin very early in the morning with a private transfer from Mendoza to Cajón de los Arenales. We are heading to the Carlos Daniel Needle, where we will start the workshop working on the track. We will practice on easy monolines to gain confidence and, if the group so desires, we will set up a top rope in a more challenging way to improve technique.Topics of the day:

- Progression and assurance
- Abseil locations
- Meeting set-up
- Principles of artificial climbing
Day 2: Needle Ascent and Integral Practice
The second day is dedicated to ascent of a needle (between 250 and 350 meters), chosen according to the weather and the level of the group. This is the longest and most challenging day: participants will apply everything they have learned, setting up meetings and managing safety under the supervision of the guide, who acts only as a monitor.Topics of the day:
- Multi-pitch climbing
- Securing the second string
- Evaluation and application of maneuvers
Day 3: Refining and Closing
On the last day we climb another needle, this time smaller, to finish earlier in the day. We focus on perfecting maneuvers and reinforce the weak points detected the day before. We finished around 6 pm, closing the workshop with a solid base for traditional climbing.

No. The activities are carried out at less than 3,000 meters above sea level.
