Route planning
Day 1: Arrival and acclimatization in Vallecitos
Private transfer from Mendoza to Vallecitos (2,850 masl), in a trip of about an hour and a half. Upon arrival, we settled into the mountain refuge and, after leaving the equipment, we made an easy ascent to the Cerro Arenales (3,400 m.a.s.l.) to favor acclimatization and enjoy the first views of the Cordón del Plata. On the way back, you will have time to relax, take a hot shower and share a comforting dinner at the refuge.
Day 2: Ascent to Cerro San Bernardo and return trip
Early breakfast at the lodge. We begin the ascent to the Cerro San Bernardo, We will enjoy incredible views during the whole trip. The summit offers an unparalleled panoramic view of the Andes and the Vallecitos valley. After celebrating the achievement, we descend to the refuge, prepare the equipment and return by private transfer to the city of Mendoza.
